STUDENT DRESS CODE

The intent of our dress code is to help develop the safety, self-confidence, self-respect, and self-esteem of our students. Please support us by following our positive expectations:

1. Midriffs and stomach areas are to be covered.
2. Spaghetti straps, strapless tops or halter tops are not permitted.
3. Clothing with inappropriate language, messages or graphics are not permitted - Students will be asked to change or turn inappropriate t-shirts inside out.
4. Hats and hoodies must be removed when inside the school. Bandanas are prohibited.
5. Appropriate footwear must be worn in the school and on the yard at all times (no bare feet, heelies, or rollerblades). Only running shoes on the equipment.
6. All staff and volunteers in the building are expected to dress appropriately for the position they hold.

Students who come to school dressed inappropriately will be asked to remedy the situation. (This may include calling a parent for a change of clothing.)
